A. W. Keating is retired. For forty years he developed computer systems. He wrote code, helped young developers, lead teams of developers in large efforts, and small. During that time, he earned a degree in English Literature with a writing emphasis from Elmhurst College, now Elmhurst University. He is retired and writing in Naperville, Illinois, with his family, wife Mary, and children, Michael (now moved out and on his own), Shelby and Thomas, and his dogs Shiloh, the most terrified girl in the world, and Apollo, the bravest Chihuahua who ever existed.
